This page explains the warranty position on products sold by Valicumis (valicumisDS LLC) and the limits of our liability.

Manufacturer warranty

Products are covered by the warranty offered by their manufacturer. Warranty length and terms vary by brand and model and are set out in the documentation supplied with the product. Typical cover is 12 months from delivery against manufacturing defects, though some brands offer longer.

Making a warranty claim

  1. Email support@valicumis.com with your order number, the product, a description of the fault and photographs or video showing it.
  2. We will either handle the claim with the manufacturer on your behalf or put you in direct contact with their support team, whichever resolves it faster.
  3. Remedies are at the manufacturer’s discretion and are usually repair, replacement parts, a replacement unit, or a refund.

What warranty does not cover

  • Normal wear and tear, fading, weathering or corrosion from outdoor exposure.
  • Damage from incorrect assembly, modification, overloading or use other than as intended.
  • Damage from storms, snow load, flooding, fire or other acts of nature, unless the product is expressly rated for those conditions.
  • Failure to follow the manufacturer’s assembly, anchoring, maintenance or storage instructions.
  • Commercial or rental use of products intended for domestic use.
  • Consumable parts and accessories.

Assembly and safety

Many of our products — sheds, gazebos, playsets, canopies and similar — must be assembled and anchored according to the manufacturer’s instructions, and may require a level, prepared base and more than one person to build safely. Check local rules on planning permission, building codes and utility lines before installing. Generators and power equipment must be operated strictly per the manufacturer’s safety instructions, including ventilation and fuel handling requirements.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any product is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including property damage, loss of use, or injury arising from incorrect assembly, installation, anchoring or misuse. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Your statutory rights

This warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable law.
